Programs

Environmental Impact Analysis
An environmental impact analysis is typically conducted to assess the potential impact a proposed development project will have on the natural and social environment. This program covers areas which amongst others, include an assessment of both the short- and long-term effects on the physical environment, such as air, water and/or noise pollution; as well as effects on local services, living and health standards, and aesthetics.

Baseline Studies of Oil Field
This program, in addition, describes the technical methods used during deep offshore environmental surveys. The logistical means such as the choice of vessel, crane type, winch speed and cable length, adequate equipment and protocol for sediment and water sampling and measurements, and samples preparation and biodiversity identification are as well described.

Well Effluent Program
Amongst other areas, this program details the rules which may be related to the following activities inside:
Discharges to water and runoff
Saturated soils
Ponding
Solids, sludge and slurry
